back to windows

Sorry for the hiatus-- way too much schoolwork. Now, on this very necessary long weekend, I get to return to blogging.

So, I have recently developed a love for Diane von Furstenberg. I have no idea why it has taken me so long to appreciate her beautiful, bright colors that make her clothes so effortless and fresh. While window shopping a few weeks ago, I fell in love with this dress at Saks. The print is so fun, and the colors are the definition of spring. Kelly green and cobalt blue-- love. After seeing this dress, I did some online "window" shopping and fell in love with many other DVF dresses, including some cover ups that I'm dying to wear to the beach. Take a peek below.

accessory love

On my window shopping extravaganza, I fell in love with Stella, Jimmy, Giuseppe, and even Nancy at Saks Fifth Avenue. All the accessories popped perfectly out of the windows. But, my favorite is obvious. The Stella McCartney snake-print bag is absolutely stunning, and the bright yellow makes it a spring must have. I so wish I had my own Stella. Although the Stella bag is without a doubt my favorite, the other accessories are beautiful as well. The Jimmy Choo suede and patent platforms are gorgeous and a fun neutral. In the next window, the Nancy Gonzalez crocodile tote and the Giuseppe Zanotti platform sandals stunned in fabulous blue hues. The platforms are especially sick. I already see myself strutting around South Beach in those. Love.

Thanks again to my fabulous sister for snapping all  these pictures!

finally, some window shopping

This weekend I finally had the chance to window shop although I obviously had to make a few purchases. How could I resist? The spring colors are just too alluring. However, my favorite window of the day showcased floral prints, not bright colors. Nordstrom's window managed me to make me fall in love with floral pants while also making me laugh. The sign in the window reads, "He said, 'Will you text me later?' She said, 'I would, but I might chip a nail.'" The bustier top is definitely one of my new favorite tops, and I will definitely sport the chambray shirt and floral skirt at school very soon. And, the pretty floral dress is so sweet. Looks like I need to make another trip to Nordstrom.
