Apologies in advance for the jumbled post that I have written here. Rather than writing a fairly long series of posts about my recent escapades at
Saks, I decided to condense my visits into one: right here. So, here goes... I love Saks Fifth Avenue.

Isn't it so beautiful?

While I was in New York, I enjoyed these lovely
Chanel displays. At the risk of sounding quite cliché and a bit dramatic, it was breathtaking. The white, the tweed, the sparkles were all painstakingly manipulated to create these gorgeous looks. I wish I could live in Chanel. But alas, I do not even own a pair of Chanel sunglasses. Eventually, it will happen, right? For now, I will continue to window shop and stare in awe at the quality of these frocks and at the immense detail that I admire so much. Sorry for the poor quality of these photos!
Has anyone read
"My List: Karl Lagerfeld in 24 Hours" in this month's Harper's Bazaar? It was my airplane reading today, and I have now decided that being Karl Lagerfeld would not be too shabby. Multiple houses, cars, cooks, and cars. I like it. And, back to window shopping.
This
Christian Louboutin display is so wonderful. How could it not be while showcasing so many fantastic heels. I die every time I see a red sole.

black and white-- how trendy |
Back at home, I made a trip to my local Saks Fifth Avenue. Although it is not quite as majestic and grand, especially in size as the original, it is still gorgeous and clearly incredibly fashionable.
Another beautiful Christian Louboutin display created by Saks, marking the designer's twentieth anniversary collection. Yay!
Unfortunately, I missed
Nanette Lepore at Saks. But, I still enjoyed this super fun, spring window filled with neon colors, floral prints, and an ice cream truck (see in the reflection). It just so happened that
Coolhaus gave out free, amazingly delicious and creative ice cream sandwiches. I lucked out. I definitely need to find another Coolhaus truck for a nice, cold treat during the summer.
P.S. Thank you for reading this incredibly long post!
